01. CONTEXT
Creators make brilliant content. But the data is a mess.
Creators work across multiple platforms, each with its own metrics, audiences and revenue streams. The information is there, but understanding what actually matters can quickly become another job in itself.
GYST was developed to bring that fragmented world together, helping creators understand what’s happening, where the opportunities are and what deserves their attention next.
02. The CHallenge
How do you turn complex social data into something people actually want to use?
- Clear enough to understand.
- Useful enough to act on.
- Trustworthy enough to take the next step.
The challenge wasn’t simply to fit more information into a dashboard. It was to make complex data feel useful without becoming overwhelming, while building enough trust for users to take the next step.
For creators already wary of traditional analytics tools, clarity mattered. But so did confidence. Before asking users to connect platforms and share sensitive account data, the experience needed to prove its value.
03. The thinking
What if data didn’t feel like data?
Creator data is fragmented by nature. Different platforms, different metrics, different revenue streams and different signals competing for attention.
I wanted the visual experience to do the opposite.
Instead of creating another conventional analytics environment, I explored a visual world built around fluidity, movement and connection. The experience was designed in both light and dark mode, allowing users to switch between two expressions of the same visual system.
Something that could make complex information feel clearer, lighter and more human.
And that thinking eventually took on a life of its own.
MEET GIO
Your data makes more sense in here.
Gio became the heart of the GYST world. An AI-powered co-pilot with a living, breathing visual identity, designed to turn complexity into something clearer, lighter and more human.
Less noise. More clarity.
04. EXPERIENCE / DARK MODE
Value first. Trust before commitment.
GYST originally asked users to connect their platforms early in the journey. But research showed that asking for sensitive access before enough trust had been established created friction.
The experience was reworked around a different idea: show the value first, build confidence along the way, and ask for commitment when it actually makes sense.
-
ENTER GIO’S WORLD
Make the first interaction feel like an invitation.
Before asking anything from the user, GYST introduces Gio and the world around him. A softer, more expressive entry point designed to feel very different from a traditional analytics tool.
-
MAKE IT PERSONAL
Start with who you are.
Creator or manager? GYST adapts the experience from the beginning, helping make what comes next feel relevant rather than one-size-fits-all.
-
SHOW THE VALUE
Make the complex feel obvious.
Instead of leading with dense dashboards, GYST gives creators a clearer view of what matters across platforms: what’s performing, where the opportunities are and what deserves attention.
-
FROM INSIGHT TO ACTION
Don’t just show the numbers. Make them useful.
Gio uses AI to turn performance data into a conversation, helping translate information into insights creators can understand and act on.
-
BUILD TRUST
Some decisions need a human touch.
Connecting social accounts means sharing sensitive access and business data. The experience makes room for reassurance, including the option to speak to a real person before moving forward.
05. THE SYSTEM
A visual language built around Gio.
The system brings colour, typography, components and motion together into one consistent visual world built around Gio, designed to work seamlessly across both light and dark modes.

TWO MODES. ONE SYSTEM.
GYST was designed in both light and dark mode, giving users the freedom to switch between two distinct expressions without losing the consistency of the experience.

FIGMA DESIGN SYSTEM
A scalable Figma design system bringing foundations, brand assets, components and templates into one shared structure.
System in use
From visual language to digital experience.
The system was designed to work beyond individual product screens. Bringing Gio, typography, colour, glass elements and motion together created a visual language that could extend naturally into the wider GYST experience.

06. My Role
A shared project.
A distinct visual direction.
GYST was developed collaboratively from research and user journeys through concept, UX and UI. I was involved throughout the process, contributing to discussions, research insights and flows, before sharing the lead on the UI phase with Ana Luisa Delgado Aguirre.
My primary focus was shaping the visual experience. I developed the Gio concept and its motion language, introduced the glass-based visual direction, and built the Figma design system, components and layout structure that brought the experience together.
Ana Luisa contributed to the UI direction, including colour development, data-focused screens and iconography, while we worked closely together to refine the overall interface.

07. Outcome
From scattered data to one clear world.
The final concept brought data, recommendations and conversation into a visual experience designed to feel clearer, more approachable and more relevant to creators.
Gio gave the experience a recognisable personality, while the redesigned flow addressed a more fundamental challenge: showing enough value and building enough trust before asking users to commit.
